The UV light inside helps to create a sterile air environment, much like a hospital. There are great for people with breathing problems, small children or enderly people in the home.
Washable Air Filters
There are tons of air filter choices on the market and it can be a bit confusing when you are shopping for them. What size filter do I need? Which is better, disposable filters or washable? Often times homeowners turn to duct cleaning services to reduce allergens in the home. Depending on the type of home you have and the age of the duct work that may be a good temporary solution. We do not typically recommend duct cleaning as a solution as it can damage the duct work if it is not done properly. The thin metallic wrap around the duct work is very fragile and using an inexperienced duct cleaning technician can cause you more problems.
